Eat, Shop, Live in Prague

The vision of Prague's Czech founders lives on as a guiding principle for today's leaders, driven by a commitment to develop and maximize the city’s resources. The community works hard to ensure a high quality of life for residents of all ages.

INDUSTRY
Agriculture is the industry leader in the area and beautiful farms and ranches can be seen throughout the countryside. Major crops are alfalfa, wheat and pecans. Registered swine and cattle are also in abundance and many breeders in the area have won trophies from their stock. This helps and encourages the FFA toward greater goals.

COMMUNITY
There are over 20 civic organizations in Prague, including Kiwanis, Masons, Lions Club, and Boy Scouts. Worship services are an important part of those who live in Prague and there are twenty churches in town and the surrounding area.

RECREATION
The citizens of Prague have developed facilities for golf, tennis, basketball, swimming, disc golf, baseball, and rodeo. Good airport facilities are available with office, hanger, lights, beacon, and an asphalt runway of 3,000 feet. Prague has one of the most beautiful parks in the state. In 1984 a 300-acre city owned lake was completed which provides recreation including fishing with a boat ramp, covered fishing dock and equestrian trails. There are also picnic and restroom facilities with playground equipment for the children.
